The Riley County Solid Waste Management Committee (SWMC) meets on an as needed basis to consider solid waste management and planning issues in Riley County. The issues include but are not limited to: waste reduction, reuse, recycling, yard waste/composting, household hazardous waste, electronic waste, waste collection, transfer station and landfilling.
